Registered Nurse (Rehabilitation) - Travel Assignment

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide specialized nursing care in a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital focused on patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The role supports comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs aimed at maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life.

Work Schedule

Shift: Night (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per week: 36
Weekend: Every other weekend rotation
Call: Must call in as soon as possible or at least 3 hours before shift starts

Unit: Nursing Rehab
Patient Population: Rehabilitation patients
Number of Beds: 40
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Epic

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Medical-surgical nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in skilled nursing settings
Familiarity with common diagnoses such as stroke, amputation, and medical-surgical conditions
