Travel contract
Contract length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Overview

Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with 59 beds, including an 11-bed locked neuro unit
Patient population includes strokes, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), post-orthopedic surgeries, motor vehicle accidents (MVA), neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6 or 1:7
Equipment used: Hoyer Lifts, Glucometer, INR Machine
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Epic

Work Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
No call requirements

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience & Skills

Experience in rehabilitation or acute care nursing
Familiarity with common diagnoses such as debility, TBI, and cerebrovascular accident (CVA)
Compassionate personality fit
