Work Schedule
- 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday through Tuesday)
- 10-hour shifts (working alone with a technician for 5.5 hours per shift)
- 36 hours per week
Unit and Work Environment
- Pharmacy staffed 24 hours with five pharmacists per day (3 AM, 1 PM, 1 Night)
- Equipment and systems used: Meditech, DoseEdge, RXMS, BD Pyxis, VigiLanz
- Business casual dress code or hospital-provided scrubs
- Diverse clinical services including NICU, ICU, OR, three EDs, inpatient rehab, acute detox, behavioral health, and level II trauma center
- Clinical activities: consult services (warfarin, vancomycin, TPN, insulin), drug information, intervention management via VigiLanz
- Strong team environment with pharmacists averaging 7 years tenure; some staff over 10 years
- Experienced pharmacy technicians with 10+ years tenure
Required Qualifications
- Valid Clinical Pharmacist license in Utah
- Minimum 2 years of clinical pharmacist experience, including experience within the last year
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
