Assignment Details

Travel assignment
12 beds
Patient ratio: 1:2
Self-schedule / unit needs
6 weekend shifts per period
Travelers float first to other ICUs or to step down
Navy blue uniform

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Neuro ICU (2 years of experience)
Neuro ICU experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Experience working with Neurology patients
Experience working with Neurosurgery patients
Care of neurology post-thrombectomy and TPA patients
Care of post-neurosurgery patients
Experience with CRRT
Experience with external ventricular drains (EVD)
Experience with arterial lines

Preferred

Neurology experienced ICU nurses

Clinical Focus

Care of neurology post thrombectomy and TPA patients
