Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Overview

• Travel assignment in Orange Park, Florida
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Scheduled in accordance with facility policy
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Unit / Department

• Cardiac Cath Lab
• 370 beds
• 4-10 hour shifts/week
• Floating: support in prep/recovery area as needed
• On-call: 2 call teams and approximately 15-18 days per month

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• RCIS or RCES or RT(R)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ experience acceptable

Clinical Skills / Procedures

• Scrub for LHC/RHC/PCI/STEMI/Peripherals
• Must be able to monitor as well
• Procedures performed: Diagnostic Left Heart Cath, PCI, STEMI, Stroke, Carotid Stenting, Peripheral diagnostic and intervention

• RotoPro
• CSI
• Penumbra
• MacLab/Meditech

Additional Notes

• Ceil blue scrubs supplied
• Newer procedure rooms and equipment
• Dedicated Charge Nurse for flow of day
