Job Opportunity: LTC/SNF Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Garrison, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Facility Type: Long Term Care (LTC)
• Unit Size: 26 beds/residents
• Patient Population: Heart disease, diabetes, dementia
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:

  • Day shift: 1:10
  • Night shift: 1:19
• EMR System: Matrix
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm), rotating every other weekend and every other major holiday
• Scheduling: No blocked schedule, no self-scheduling
• Orientation: 2-3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation

Job Duties

• Act as charge nurse
• Pass medications
• Perform wound care
• No IVs or titratable drips involved
• No telemonitoring or reading strips required
• No attendance required at team conferences for acute inpatient rehab
• No call, standby, or floating requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (Registered Nurse)
• BLS Certification required
• Experience: LTC nursing experience required (no specific years stated, but LTC experience is mandatory)
• Prior travel experience: Not specified or required

Additional Information

• No clinical involvement beyond nursing duties described
• Oxygen therapy equipment available: concentrators and portable concentrators
• Pharmacy is off-site with medication dispensing system

• Radius rule: Candidates must live within 50 miles and cannot be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any related healthcare system facilities
