Radiology Technologist - Fargo, North Dakota

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Certifications and Licensure

• Active BLS (AHA) certification
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMRT) licensure required or willingness to apply within 48 hours of offer acceptance

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent radiology technologist experience (higher value confirmed)
• Experience with portables and Emergency Room (ER) or experience with C-arm
• Must be able to perform fluoroscopy and surgery procedures
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Job Duties and Procedures

• Perform fluoroscopy, endoscopy, operating room (OR), general exams, and portable imaging
• Use equipment including EPIC, Philips rooms with Carestream DRX interface, Siemens Agile Max fluoro room, OEC C-arms, and Siemens portables
• Scan approximately 40-60 patients per day

Work Environment and Schedule

• Fast-paced hospital setting
• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Varying afternoon/evening shifts with occasional day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Possible occasional call shifts
• Shift mix includes 2-3 of the 3-11 shifts and the rest 9:30-6 or 10-6:30 depending on weekly needs

Unit Information

• 2 X-ray rooms and 1 fluoroscopy room
• Radiation badge supplied by agency/traveler
• Blue scrubs provided

Additional Notes

• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Important licensing tip: Fingerprints must be sent to the NDMIRT Board licensing office, not the ND BCI, to avoid delays in licensure processing
• If previously employed by this healthcare system, must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission date
