Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Clinic

Location: Williston, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Overview

• Work in a primary care clinic setting with up to 20 provider pods.
• Patient volume ranges from up to 25 patients per day in primary care to as many as 50 per day in walk-in.
• Patient population includes newborns through geriatrics.
• Common procedures include skin biopsies, circumcisions, wart removals, occasional stitches, and splinting.
• Job duties involve extensive computer work using AEHR and Meditech EMRs, performing EKGs (training provided), assisting with minor procedures, rooming patients, administering vaccines, cleaning and stocking rooms, handling patient phone calls, and collaborating closely with providers.
• Floating to different primary care departments such as Pediatrics, Family Medicine, OB, Walk-in, and Internal Medicine is required.
• Orientation includes 1 week of unit/department-specific training.
• Dress code: Black scrub pants and light blue top.
• Parking available on site.

Required Qualifications

• Current LPN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Clinic experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied day shifts (8 or 10 hours) typically between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
• Must be able to float across multiple primary care departments.
• Strong teamwork, time management, ambition, self-starter attitude, and problem-solving skills are important for success.

Additional Information

• No weekend or holiday shifts required.
• RN Lead available as manager/supervisor on each shift.
• Medical Assistants (CNA & CMA) support the clinic.
• Candidates must comply with a 50-mile radius rule and cannot have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with certain affiliated facilities within the past year.
• Return to Office (RTO) is required upfront; no additional RTO approvals will be granted after submission.
