ER Float RN - WEST VALLEY

Overview

• Travel assignment for an experienced ER RN in Laveen, Arizona.
• The role includes floating to several ER satellite locations in the area.
• Schedule is made in advance so the traveler knows the reporting location.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience.
• Active ACLS and BLS.
• Arizona or compact license.
• Cannot have worked in Arizona for the past 12 months as a permanent staff employee.
• Cannot currently hold an active position at an acute care hospital or hospital system in Arizona, including PRN.
• COVID vaccine is required, or a declination form with appropriate documentation and hospital approval.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, with 2 max attempts.
• Must pass a Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI is preferred.

Unit Details

• Unit: ER.
• One of only 2 RNs on staff at the satellite locations.
• Ratios: 4:1.
• Vent capable.
• Lab draws are performed by ER staff.
• No IV team.
• Floor-specific orientation: Yes.

Schedule

• Nights.
• 12-hour shifts.
• 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend.
• Holidays as needed.

• Scrub color: Galaxy Blue.
• Floating is to all campuses listed.
