Shift

• Nights, 12 hours per day
• Scheduled shifts may include: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Unit Overview

• Emergency Department
• High-acuity, fast-paced setting
• Level I Trauma Center
• Pediatric certified by the state
• Comprehensive Stroke Center

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC
• Recent Level I or Level II trauma experience
• Driver’s license required at submittal

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Float to the OBS unit and the Freestanding ER at least once per week

Schedule / Assignment Expectations

• Weekend and holiday scheduling varies based on department needs
• 1 week of onboarding, plus 2 shifts at one site and 1 shift at another site
• RTO must be submitted upfront; no additional RTO will be approved after submission

Additional Notes

• Candidate must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Candidate cannot be full time, part time, or PRN with any affiliated facility
• Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
• RN orientation includes a pass/fail open-book exam requiring a 90% score to continue
