Registered Nurse – Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatric Unit
Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on an inpatient adolescent psychiatric unit.
- Must be flexible to work various shifts including holidays and weekends.
- Note: No guaranteed hours during admission and discharge weeks or cycle breaks (meetings/training).
- Maximum of 2 shift call-outs allowed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 5 years of psychiatric nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), MANDT, or TEAM.
Experience
- Prior travel experience is required.
Additional Information
- Must be able to work night shifts primarily but remain flexible for other shifts as assigned.
