Respiratory Therapist Tech - Days

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support.
Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.
Use equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Ventilator.
Care for patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.

Shift: Day Shift (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM), three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours). No guarantee of hours.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday.
Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.

It’s always 4 to 1 except hallways you might only have 3. The staff is so kind and welcoming I have nothing bad to say about them. This was my favorite assignment so far
