Job Opportunity: Med Surg/Telemetry RN - Days

Location: Morristown, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Deliver nursing care within Department of Nursing Standards and Specialty Specific Standards.
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation to other staff.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Vermont
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• De-escalation training (active or scheduled by Clinical Orientation)
• Stepdown nursing experience

• Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Nursing

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing (based on typical specialty requirements).
• No explicit prior travel experience required.
