EEG Tech - Per Diem

Location: Flemington, New Jersey
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Schedule:

• Minimum 3-6 shifts per month, Fridays guaranteed
• Possibility of up to 2 shifts per week depending on need
• No on-call required
• Weekend flexibility required

Job Summary

Perform high-quality electroencephalograms (EEGs) to assist in neurological diagnoses, ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety. This role offers a flexible schedule ideal for EEG Technicians seeking per diem work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized EEG studies following established protocols
• Ensure accurate electrode placement and proper operation of EEG equipment
• Monitor and document patient responses, artifacts, and clinical observations
• Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Comply with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and industry standards

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a formal EEG program
• Minimum 2 years of EEG Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ABRET certification
• BLS certification

Additional Requirements / Compliance

• Background check and drug screen
• Verification of education and employment
• Various health screenings and immunizations including COVID-19 vaccine plus booster, Hepatitis B, MMR, TdaP, Varicella, TB screening, and fit mask test
• Compliance with multiple regulatory and safety checks (e.g., FACIS 3M, OFAC, OIG, sex offender registries)
• Physical exam and skills checklist verification

Contract Length

• Approximately 52 weeks (1 year)

• 8 hours per shift on scheduled days
