Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (8 weeks)
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description

Provide nursing care for admissions, inductions, labor, delivery, and operating room support for cesarean sections.
Follow AWONN staffing guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana.
Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with recent experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
Contract length is 8 weeks.
Shift is primarily overnight.
