Radiology Technician - Florence, South Carolina (LTA Contract)

Job Description

  • Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
  • Properly position patients and perform all radiographic examinations.
  • Operate and be familiar with all radiographic equipment at all times.
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Responsible for patient care, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in continuing education and in-services to develop professionalism.
  • Comply with all system policies to deliver the highest quality of service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Credentials and Certifications

  • BLS (AHA only)
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification
  • SCRQSA certification
  • State License/Certificate Verification (Primary source verification required; state-specific registry)
  • Driver's License/State ID (valid and up to date)
  • Social Security Card (copy required)
  • Criminal Background Check (county, statewide, national search, OIG, EPLS, OFAC, NSOP, SS Trace, education verification; done within 60 days of start covering last 7 years; updated annually)
  • Employment Verification (5 years)
  • 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start; rapid drug screen not accepted)
  • Skills Checklist (clinical only, completed prior to start and updated annually)
  • Confirmation of Assignment (standard form required)

Required Immunizations and Health History

  • MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations or titer with lab printout (no declinations accepted)
  • Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations or titer with lab printout (no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 vaccinations or titer with lab printout (no declinations accepted)
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): 1st within 1 year, 2nd within 30 days of start; negative Q-Gold or Tspot acceptable if within 90 days prior to start
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Optional but recommended (most up-to-date vaccination card showing fully vaccinated)
  • Influenza Vaccine: Optional, required September-April with medical/religious exemptions considered case-by-case
  • Fit Test: Optional, required for travelers with make/model completed within a year of start
  • Annual Negative PPD, Annual TB Questionnaire, Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: Optional, depending on individual circumstances
