Job Opportunity: Mammography Technician

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Work Schedule

Monday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (40-hour day)
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Required Qualifications

License: Must hold a valid Mammography Technician license as required by Massachusetts regulations.
Certifications: ARRT certification required.
Immunizations and Health Requirements:
- Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine, or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30); no exemptions allowed.
- Documentation of TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if there is a break >6 months. If positive TB test, chest x-ray documentation required.
- Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
- Strongly preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination record or proof of immunity or declination.
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred.
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit testing is required.
