Job Opportunity: RN Telemetry I (Travel)
Location: Waco, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition appropriately.
- Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Required Experience

- Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Positive PPD or Negative Chest X-Ray and annual TB Questionnaire (updated annually)
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes
- Fit Test: Required annually (preferred prior to start)
- 12 Panel Drug Screen: Within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
Background & Verification
- Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other checks within 30 days prior to assignment
- Employment Verification (past 7 years)
- Education Verification (within 90 days prior to start)
- Professional References: At least two professional references required
- Confirmation of Assignment documentation
