Location: Pensacola, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Holiday Coverage: Memorial Day, July 4th
Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy services as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Work primarily night shifts with a 12-hour schedule.
- Must be available for every other weekend and specified holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Submission of professional resume/profile and at least two professional references prior to assignment.
- Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, and specialty-specific skills checklist.
- Criminal background check including social security trace, OIG search, and national sex offender registry within 30 days of assignment start.
- Employment and education verifications completed within 90 days of start.
- Signed assignment agreement and onboarding education attestation.
- Recent badge photo (headshot with white or blue background, no filters).
- Confirmation of assignment documentation on agency letterhead with accurate start and end dates.
- Annual updates and re-verifications required if assignment is extended or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days.
