Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Kokomo, Indiana

Job Description

• Provide nursing care for all Emergency Room patients.
• Must be comfortable and experienced in a charge nurse role.
• Required to have at least 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing.

Required Certifications

• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• PALS (American Heart Association)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - current certification, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Certification (Group A updated yearly; Groups B-F every 2 years)
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (CPI) - 8-hour course, updated every 2 years

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience in charge nurse roles.

Additional Information

• Onboarding includes completion of nursing contingent worker education and attestation.
• Skills checklist to be completed within one year of start and updated annually.
• Badge photo required (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations).
• Some optional checklists and evaluations may be requested post-assignment.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Charge nurse experience required.
• No explicit prior travel experience required.
