Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Sun City West, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Specialty Experience:
  Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience is required.

• Licensing:

  • Active Arizona RN license or Compact license required at time of submission.
  • Candidates with an Arizona driver's license will not be considered.

• Certifications:

  • American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS (Basic Life Support) - required
  • Certifications from American Red Cross are also acceptable.

• Background and Compliance:

  • No hits on Nursys license verification at time of submission.
  • Must adhere to specific background requirements and compliance policies.
  • Flu vaccination required; declinations can be applied for (vaccination status must be noted in submission).

• Return to Office (RTO) Policy:

  • RTO requests will not be approved within the first week of assignment or during holidays.
  • RTO cannot exceed 7 days.

• Travel Experience:

  • Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.

Submission Requirements

• Fully completed Banner Cover Page with all requested information.
• Resume must include all facilities worked at, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
• Skills checklist specific to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) discipline.
• Active driver's license (not Arizona).

Additional Notes

• Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start.
• Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
• Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
