Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
• Orientation sessions available on multiple scheduled dates from January through December.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
• At least 1 year of previous Rehab experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Mandatory Reporter certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract (preferred).
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date.
• License verification and copy of required certifications.
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Additional Information

• Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
• OT/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x.
• Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with a 2-hour minimum.
• On-call pay: $9/hr.
• Charge/Precept pay: $6/hr.
• EMR system used: EPIC.
• Night shift bonus: 16 hours.

Summary

This is a 13-week temporary RN position on the night shift in Med Surg / Rehab requiring at least 1 year of rehab experience and an active RN license in Iowa. The role involves floating within the discipline, working 12-hour shifts, and includes holiday and overtime requirements. Prior travel contract experience is preferred.
