Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - Temporary Position

Location: Marshall, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide peri-operative care of surgical patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Prepare the physical environment before patient arrival.
• Assist RN with developing plan of care.
• Follow procedures to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Must be able to orient quickly and work independently.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of surgical experience.
• At least 1 year of previous travel experience.
• Competent in Orthopedic Totals and Neuro Spine procedures.
• Experience with DaVinci Robotic surgery.
• NBSTSA certification required (verification must be provided).

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)

Additional Information

• No additional licenses required.
• Surgical services include Cardiothoracic, Colorectal, DaVinci Robotic, General, Gynecological, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Vascular, and Urology.
