Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license in Missouri
• Occupational Therapist Assistant (1 year of experience)
• Occupational Therapist Assistant experience within the last year
• Experience in a(n) Long Term Care or Rehabilitation setting

Role Overview

• Provides rehabilitative treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Performs ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive or assistive devices
• Assesses patient progress and communicates treatment updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Provides consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Documents required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records
• Records treatment minutes accurately
• Participates in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
• Helps obtain needed DME or supplies with the supervising Occupational Therapist
• May supervise and support students under Occupational Therapist guidance
