Required Qualifications

  • Valid Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) license in Louisiana
  • Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) (3 years of experience)
  • Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience within the last year
  • Experience with Epic

Required Certifications

  • LA License

Unit Details

  • Blood Bank work including irradiation, splitting blood products, and plasma reduction on plateletpheresis

Responsibilities

  • Performs HPC processing and cryopreservation procedures in the Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Laboratory
  • Maintains inventory, preventive maintenance, and quality control measures
  • Troubleshoots laboratory equipment as needed
  • Performs quality assurance duties
  • Maintains technical proficiency and competency in HPC procedures and other clinical areas of the laboratory
