Required Qualifications

Valid Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) license in Louisiana
Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) (3 years of experience)
Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) experience within the last year
Experience with Epic

Required Certifications

LA License

Unit Details

Blood Bank work including irradiation, splitting blood products, and plasma reduction on plateletpheresis

Responsibilities

Performs HPC processing and cryopreservation procedures in the Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Laboratory
Maintains inventory, preventive maintenance, and quality control measures
Troubleshoots laboratory equipment as needed
Performs quality assurance duties
Maintains technical proficiency and competency in HPC procedures and other clinical areas of the laboratory
