Overview
- Specialty: Surgical Services

- Shift: Evening, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
- Schedule: Rotating weekends and occasional holidays
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role focus
- Experienced with all areas of the department, including:
- Decontamination of items such as drills, DaVinci, and scopes
- Assembly of instruments across service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packaging
- Sterilization using Sterrad and steam
- HLD/scope experience
- Sterile storage
- OR liaison experience
- Censitrac tracking system experience
- Medivator experience
Required Qualifications
- Sterile Processing Technician experience within the last year
- 1 year of Sterile Processing Technician experience
- CBSPD or CRCST
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Preferred Qualifications
- None stated
Additional Notes
- This assignment is based in a Level One trauma facility
- Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible
- Candidates within 50 miles of the care site are not eligible
