Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Melbourne, Florida
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Ratios: 1:5
• Guaranteed hours: contracted hours guaranteed
• First-timers not accepted
• Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, depending on unit needs
• Must provide 2 references from authority figures within the last year
• Flu vaccine required during flu season, with medical or religious exemptions only

Float Scope

• Traveler will have a home base but may float to other units or locations in Cape Canaveral, Holmes Regional, Palm Bay, or Viera

Additional Notes

• On-call not required
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
