Unit / Setting

• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• 54-bed level III unit
• Serves as a regional referral center for high-risk infants
• Majority of patients are very low birth weight premies requiring ventilatory support
• Floating within hospital: Yes, to Mother Baby to care for babies only
• Floating to sister hospitals: No

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
• Experience with Epic

Schedule Notes

• 2 weekend shifts per month
• Weekend shifts are variable and scheduled as needed
• Must be flexible to unit needs if additional weekend coverage is needed
