Unit Overview

Medical-surgical unit with a 57-bed maximum capacity
Serves internal medicine patients with a wide range of medical diagnoses
Required to float to Medical Surgical and Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)

Schedule Expectations

Charge nurse and supervisor on every shift
Rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather coverage may be required
Must work at least 50% of holidays during the contract

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
No locals within 50 miles
Physical demands include ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
Exposure to contagious illnesses is possible
