Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Experience with Cerner

Schedule Details

• 1 night shift call per schedule
• 1 weekend shift per month, occasionally 2

Work Conditions

• No float requirement

Additional Requirements

• Drivers license or state ID with address and front/back copy
• 7-year background search within 30 days of start, including county criminal search, national criminal search, sex offender search, FACIS 3, OIG/GSA, and OFAC
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and monthly thereafter
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and every 30 days thereafter
• Badge photo with white background and shoulders included; selfie photos not accepted
• Online orientation required before start
• Flu declination form must be completed and signed before start
• Physical exam or statement of health within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Fit mask within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Drug screen within 30 days prior to start
• Medical and employee information release form
• 2 references from a manager, supervisor, or charge RN within 3 years of hire
• Employment application
• Skills checklist, updated annually

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Measles, mumps, and rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer
• Hepatitis B: vaccination series, positive titer, or declination
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive IgG titer
• Flu vaccination or declination documentation as required by season
• COVID vaccination is preferred, but not required

Notes

• Tele test required to remain on assignment, with a maximum of 2 attempts
