Travel/Contract assignment in New Haven, Connecticut
Winter coverage for one 10-week contract
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
Assigned to one campus with possible rotation to other campuses
Cross-training and floating between campuses included
Short Term Acute Care facility
Level I Trauma Center
1,567 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

2 years of experience

Unit / Scope

RN ED
Average ratio: 1:6 on days and nights
Travelers do not get trauma/rescue rooms, triage, or locked behavioral health units
May float within scope to meet facility needs
