Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Pediatrics (2 years of experience)
• Pediatrics experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Military Training Network or Heart & Stroke of Canada
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• COVID vaccination
• Charge RN or above for references

Facility Requirements

• Review and sign the orientation guide and confidentiality agreement
• Complete the orientation guide post test before start
• Complete the non-employee personal information sheet
• Review dress and grooming standards, harassment-free workplace policy, IT acceptable use policy, and parking information
• Review the medication test study guide before start
• Submit flu exemption forms only if requesting a medical or religious exemption

Notes

• COVID vaccination is preferred, not required
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption is required during flu season
• Fit testing may be completed onsite if needed, at additional cost
• Housing/lodging is not mentioned
