Registered Nurse - ER

Location: Mc Connellsburg, Pennsylvania Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours (18:45 to 07:15)
• Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week
• Call: No call
• Weekends: Every other weekend, with the option to work every weekend
• Holidays: Required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Emergency Department (ED) experience of 2 years
• Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or United States Department of Defense
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Background and Screening

• Criminal background check: 7-year check within one year of start, updated annually. Must cover all locations lived or worked in the past 7 years. Includes SS trace, counties, nationwide, sex offender registry, and FACIS level 3.
• PA statewide background check: Patch certificate, with the PA Patch search specifically requested
• PA FBI fingerprinting: Required within 12 months of start. Proof of fingerprint receipt is acceptable to start. The PA Department of Human Services fingerprinting process applies.
• Department of Aging fingerprints: Required for all units. Not required if the candidate has been a PA resident for the past 2 years. Candidate must be in PA to complete fingerprinting by the document due date. Results may be pending at start with proof of receipt.
• PA Childline Abuse Clearance: Required within 12 months of start, updated annually. Results must be received before start.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG: Required within 30 days of start and updated with each renewal or extension

Health Requirements

• Physical exam: Required within 12 months, with annual updates attesting to ability to meet the physical demands of the position
• TB screening: Negative 2-step PPD within 12 months, or TSpot or QuantiFERON Gold in lieu of both PPDs. Updated annually.
• N95 fit test: Required within 1 year of start. Can be completed on arrival if needed.
• Measles (rubeola), mumps, rubella, and varicella: Titer or 2 vaccines for each
• Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination
• Drug screen: 9-panel drug screen within the last 12 months, not required annually
• Flu vaccination (2026-27 season, October through March): Required, with onsite vaccination available. Declinations are accepted.

Documentation and Onboarding

• Facility mandatory education: Must review and complete the acknowledgment form before start
• Facility MMR declination: Accepted for low MMR titers
• Employment application or resume: Complete application required
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references (hospital evaluation also accepted)
• Skills checklist: Required for the applicable unit, updated annually
