Overview
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start date: ASAP
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required to like units to meet staffing needs
- Travelers accepted: First-time travelers accepted
Patient Population / Unit Focus
- Medical-surgical oncology patients
- Leukemia
- Lymphoma
- Multiple myeloma
- Bone marrow transplant
- Hematology/Oncology
- Clinical trials, CAR-T, and stem cell transplant
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- CHEMO
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
- Chest tube set-up/care
- CPAP/BiPAP
- Procedure sedation
- Cooling/warming blanket
- Drains, feeding tubes, fistula care
- Port-a-cath / vascular device access and care
- Syringe pumps
- Wound vac
- Heparin, insulin, and Lasix
Notes
- Previous permanent employees of affiliated facilities must have been separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify.
