Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Palo Alto, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography (CT) procedures independently to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Utilize clinical skills and sound judgment to ensure safe, precise, and timely procedures.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gain cooperation and confidence.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain patient privacy and safety.
May assist in orienting new staff and perform specific CT-related procedures.
Experience with CTA (CT Angiography), Calcium scoring, and structural CTs is required.
Possible weekend shifts as needed.

Required Certifications & Licenses

Basic Life Support (BLS)
ARRT (R) or CT certification
California Radiation License
California Fluoroscopy License

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in California
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, with experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT) certification
