Job Description

• Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET CT procedures
• Must have PET CT experience
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year

Experience

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Nuclear Medicine / PET CT)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-Spot) or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Annual TB questionnaire if past positive TB test
• Immunizations and titers:

  • TDAP vaccine required
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Proof of immunity or vaccination per facility policy
  • Hepatitis B: Series, immune titer, or facility-specific declination
  • Varicella: Proof of immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccine required year-round (no declinations accepted)
  • COVID-19 initial vaccine series required
• 10-panel drug screen within 14 days of start (no positive results accepted)
• Mask fit testing for approved respirator models (N95) required and must be current
• Facility-specific documents and attestations (confidentiality, overtime policy, security worksheet, suspected abuse policy, etc.) must be reviewed and signed

Competency & Testing Requirements

• Specialty-specific competency exams prior to start and annually thereafter
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (RN-specific if applicable)
• Color blindness testing (if applicable)
• Pass/Fail testing for EKG/medications as required
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification preferred prior to start; can be completed onsite if necessary
• Joint Commission Attestation signed annually

• Unit-specific skills checklist required before start
• Physical and mental health must support ability to perform all job duties
• Hair and facial hair must comply with infection control and respirator fit requirements
• Onsite certification renewals available for BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (if applicable) but must be current before starting assignment
