Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Angiography Tech)
Location: Charleston, West Virginia

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday (typically 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
- On-Call: Rotation includes weekdays and weekends; every third weekend required (5-6 total weekends during contract)
- On-Call Requirement: Approximately 8 days per month including 1 weekend/month with a 30-minute response time
- Floating: Required to float to a sister facility for 1 week during contract
- Average Daily Census: 7-10 patients
- Work Setting: Interventional Radiology, vascular radiology suite
- Procedures: Peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention including acute stroke, embolization
- Charting System: Cerner
- Scrub Color: Blue surgical scrubs issued by hospital
- Parking: Free for travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in West Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year
- ARRT certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Additional Requirements
- Orientation: Every other Monday; orientation is two days (Thursday and Friday) covering Cerner Infusion Management
- Background Checks: 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, including SSN trace, sex offender search, national and international checks if applicable
- Health Requirements:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, stating candidate is in good health and free from communicable diseases
- Annual fit mask testing (N95) required; accommodations available if needed
- Negative TB test within 3 months of start or chest X-ray if positive TB history
- Required vaccinations or proof of immunity: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Drug screen within 30 days of start, including a comprehensive panel (amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, opiates, etc.)
- Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31) unless approved medical or religious exemption; COVID-19 vaccination not required
- References: Minimum 1 reference from a manager, supervisor, or charge nurse within the past year
Work Environment & Expectations
- On-Call Response: Must respond within 30 minutes when on call
- Floating: Will float to a nearby sister facility for 1 week during the contract
- Schedule Flexibility: Open to reasonable blocked schedule requests, to be discussed during interview
- Radius Rule: Must live within 100 miles of facility; exceptions require approval
