Job Opportunity: LVN / LPN - Telemetry

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• LVN/LPN needed with Med Surg experience within the last year; MS/Telemetry preferred.
• Required proficiency in heparin drips, IV starts, lab draws, and electronic documentation.
• Shift: 4x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Float required.
• Every third weekend required.
• Charge nurse every shift.
• Patient diagnoses include elective joint replacements, fractures, trauma, back/neck surgeries, post-op craniotomy, seizures, and strokes.
• Unit will expand to 48 beds within the next year.
• Telemetry patients included.
• Limited medication drips.
• No moderate sedation or close reductions.
• Equipment used includes bucks' traction and hoyer lifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg and/or Telemetry experience within the last year
• Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• IV Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Information

• No first-time travelers accepted.
• Return-to-Office (RTO) limit: 2 requests per contract.
• Scrub color: Any solid color/brand.
• Onsite AVADE training required if extending past initial contract (specific units only).
• Various facility-specific documents and orientation quizzes must be completed prior to start.
• Candidate must review and sign confidentiality and code of conduct agreements.

Prior Travel Experience

• No first-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience required).
