Location: Columbia, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Outpatient MRI position, Monday through Friday.
• Requires physical activity including ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs.
• Exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is routine.
• Facility operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
• Rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather required.
• Must be able to:

  1. Work at assigned location for the full contract term
  2. Work the majority of the assigned shift
  3. Take call
  4. Work assigned weekends
  5. Work at least 50% of holidays during the contract

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty.
• First-time travelers are welcome (prior travel experience NOT required).

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, including outpatient MRI experience within the last year.

Certifications & Compliance

• Background check including 7-year history and various federal/state screenings required within 60 days of start.
• Drug screening (7-panel) required within 60 days of start.
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination within 10 years or approved exemption
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or immunity
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Fit mask test required annually (specific mask types accepted).
• Photo ID and proof of eligibility to work required.

Additional Requirements

• Must provide 2 professional references from the last 2 years.
• Resume must document at least 7 years of employment history with no gaps over 30 days.
• Must complete facility-specific forms and attestations within required timeframes.

Physical & Work Environment

• Active role requiring physical stamina.
• Exposure to infectious diseases possible.
• Must be flexible with shift assignments including weekends, holidays, and inclement weather.
