Location: Columbia, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking an MRI Tech with experience in radiology and cardiology settings. The role requires working in a high-acuity environment with adult ICU, pediatrics, and adult acute care patients. The position involves rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends, and requires the ability to take call.
Required Experience & Skills
- MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment
- Experience working with adult patients
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience with McKesson and Cerner systems
Certifications & Licenses
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
Physical & Work Environment Demands
- Active role requiring physical mobility and strength
- Exposure to patients with contagious illnesses
- Facility operates 24/7, requiring flexibility in scheduling
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background check including 7-year history and various federal/state screenings required
- Drug screening (7-panel) required within 60 days of start
- Immunizations and health screenings required, including:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years or approved exemption
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B vaccination or approved exemption
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start (specific mask types required)
- Professional references and detailed employment history required
Additional Notes
- Must be able to work at the assigned location for the full contract duration
- Must be able to work at least 50% of holidays during the contract
- Photo ID and proof of eligibility to work required
- Various facility-specific forms and acknowledgments must be completed within 60 days of start
