Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse – Infusion (Infusion/Outpatient Clinic)
• Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: No
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating: Yes, between infusion and specialty clinics (Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, GI). May also float to a nearby new chemo infusion site.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of infusion nursing experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Important Notes

• Hurricane Season: Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November). Peak months are August and September. Avoid confirming new or extension assignments during this time if this is a concern.

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check within 1 year covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Physical exam within 90 days prior to start, cleared to work without restrictions
• Fit test within 90 days prior to start for approved N95 masks (specific mask models required)
• Immunizations and health requirements including:

  • Tdap within 10 years or declination form
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted for Mumps and Rubella only)
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
  • Varicella (2 vaccines, documented history, or declination)
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days prior to start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (August 1 – April 30)
• COVID-19 vaccination highly preferred; declination form required if not vaccinated
• Radiation badge may be required depending on unit assignment (not typical for this role)
