Job Details
- Start Date: Approximately 3-4 weeks out depending on compliance tier
- Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
- Experience Required:
- 2 years preferred
- 1+ year accepted if experience is at a Level 1/Teaching Facility
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Certifications Required: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- On-call: Not required
- Floating: Yes, within service line and scope
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Locals Accepted: No (home address must be at least 75 miles from facility)
- Pending License Accepted: Yes
- Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes, minimum 3 shifts per 13 weeks (cancelled shifts must be regular shift length)
- Special Skills Required: Phlebotomy & Starting IVs

Licenses & Certifications
- Government-issued ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
- Professional License Primary Source Verification (Missouri licenses verifiable on NURSYS)
- BCLS certification required
- Additional certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, CPI, MAB, NIH Stroke Certification)
- IV Certification required for LPN/LVN in Missouri
- Background checks including:
- Criminal background check (7-year search, statewide, nationwide, international if applicable)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM quarterly checks
- HHS/OIG quarterly checks
- State-specific searches (Missouri and Illinois)
- Fingerprinting for Illinois long-term care or rehab units
- Education verification of highest nursing degree
- Competency exams as applicable (medication, oncology, dysrhythmia/EKG)
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test (N95) annually
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (2 negative PPDs or T-Spot/Q-Gold within 1 year)
- Immunizations or immunity documentation for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Drug testing within 1 year of start, must not expire during assignment
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (09/30 - 04/01)

- Floating within the service line may be required to meet facility needs.
- Local candidates are not accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility.
