Schedule:

• 36-hour shifts
• Some weekends required
• No call
• Overtime only after 48 hours worked

Job Description

Seeking an ER Registered Nurse to work a travel/contract assignment. The position requires flexibility to occasionally cover additional shifts as needed.

Licensure Requirements

• Missouri State RN license or Compact RN license

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (ER)
• Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated, assume minimum standard for ER RN roles (typically 1-2 years)

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense accepted

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – as required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – as required

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within one year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
• State-specific search (Missouri EDL Search) completed prior to start

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required by 11/1/2024 for clearance

Documentation and Competency Requirements

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government-issued photo ID carried during hours of service
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Residency declaration form if working on a compact license
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Competency exams as applicable
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)
• State license primary source verification
• NURSYS verification for RNs
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completed employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit

Additional Notes

• No overtime until after 48 hours worked
• Some weekend shifts required
• No on-call duties
