Job Description

• Work in an outpatient facility
• Pediatrics experience required
• Schedule: 4x10 day shifts, no weekends
• Required Certifications/Licenses:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Florida State License

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (Pediatrics SLP)
• No explicit requirement for prior travel experience

Required Credentials and Compliance

• Background checks covering last 7 years of residence, work, and education
• Education verification (transcript or diploma acceptable)
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting)
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 6 months of start
• Fit test for N95 mask (updated annually)
• Immunizations and health requirements including:

  • Tdap within 10 years
  • Negative TB test (Qgold/TSPOT within 1 year)
  • MMR (2 vaccines or positive titer for measles, mumps, rubella)
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
  • Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, or history of disease)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption

Certifications Recommended or Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - AHA/AAP only
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (for L&D staff) - Intermediate AWHONN

This position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with pediatric outpatient experience seeking a travel contract in Florida with a 13-week commitment and a 4x10 day shift schedule.
