Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Nightshift Inpatient

Location: Hannibal, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Nightshift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Nightshift position.
• Floating to other areas of competency may be required.
• No local candidates within a 60-mile radius.

Required Qualifications

• License: Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) is not required for inpatient rehab.
• Experience:

  • Minimum years of specialty experience not explicitly stated; assume standard RN experience for rehab setting.
• Prior Travel Experience:

  • No explicit requirement for prior travel experience.

Orientation & Start Date

• ASAP start date.

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Copy of I9 (no attestation accepted).
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
• E-Verify documentation.
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year work/lived/school history.
  • Social Security trace, county searches, nationwide search, sex offender search.
  • State-specific elder/child abuse search if applicable.
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 90 days of start.
• Education verification.
• Primary source verification of RN license.
• NURSYS verification.
• Physical exam within 12 months.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required).
• Immunizations and titers:

  • MMR (2 vaccines or positive titer).
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination).
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer).
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination or exemption accepted).
• 7-panel drug screen within 45 days of start.
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (9/1 - 3/31).
• Annual TB questionnaire.
• References from at least 2 recent employers.
• Employment application and skills checklist required.
• Facility-specific documents and confidentiality statement to be completed.

Additional Notes

• Religious and medical exemptions for COVID-19 and flu vaccines are considered with required documentation.
• Modules and facility-specific training will be completed during orientation.
• HIPAA compliance and safety manual acknowledgment required.

This position is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable with night shifts in a rehab setting and able to meet comprehensive compliance and documentation standards.
