Therapy/Rehabilitation Travel/Contract Job - Yuba City, California

Job Details

• Start Date: February 2, 2026 (temporary coverage)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Outpatient physical therapy clinic
• Schedule Options:

  • 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
  • 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (Tues-Fri)
• Patient Caseload:

  • 14-16 patients on an 8-hour day
  • 16-20 patients on a 10-hour day
• Environment:

  • Family-owned, supportive
  • Thriving, busy clinic with 1,000+ visits/month
  • Private treatment rooms
  • High variety caseload including post-op, geriatric, athletes, chronic pain, vestibular rehab, pelvic floor rehab (pelvic floor experience is a plus)

Requirements

• Licensing:

  • Accepts pending California license
  • Must have CPR certification
• Experience:

  • Prefer 1 year experience in outpatient setting (other settings considered)
  • New graduates, new to outpatient, and experienced therapists are welcome
• Comfort Level: Must be comfortable with a high-paced outpatient setting

Certifications (Required)

• CPR (Basic Life Support - BLS)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred

Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form prior to start
• Background checks including 7-year search, SS trace, county searches, sex offender registry, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG (updated annually)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Immunizations or titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Skills checklist required annually
• Professional references:

  • 2 for travel, allied, per diem acute care
  • 1 for per diem non-acute care (not required for non-clinical roles)
