Job Description

• Echo Tech with Vascular
• Variable start times: 7:30am, 8:00am, 9:00am, 2:00pm
• Weekend shifts: 1-2 months, with 3 call shifts per month

Experience Requirements

• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) training for RNs in ER and ICU (with in-person component)

Background and Documentation Requirements

• Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form prior to start
• 7-year Criminal Background Check within 90 days
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks (updated monthly)
• Education Verification (highest level)
• Employment Application/Resume with at least 1 year relevant experience and 7 years work history if applicable
• Skills Checklist (updated annually, not required for non-licensed workers)
• Professional References: 2 for clinical candidates (Manager or above), validated within 2 years
• Facility-specific documents including photo for badge (white background, shoulders up)

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year, stating candidate is free of communicable disease and able to perform duties
• Fit Mask test within 1 year and renewed annually (with religious exemption process if applicable)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination form
• Negative TB test (TSPOT, Qgold, or 2 PPDs) within 1 year, with annual TB questionnaire
• Immunizations or positive titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (3 dose series, positive titer, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Drug Testing: Negative 7 Panel within 30 days of start (instant acceptable)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or facility-specific declination during flu season (11/01 - 03/31)
• COVID Vaccination or facility-specific declination during flu season (11/01 - 03/31)

Additional Notes

• Pass/fail testing for Dysrhythmia/EKG administered onsite; failure results in cancellation
• Some certifications (e.g., ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP) require quarterly renewal if using RQI certification
• Facility requires completion of Oracle modules prior to start
• Facility-specific Interim Life Safety Measures required prior to start
