Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Location: 3rd floor, Tower A
Number of Beds: 368
Number of Staff: 34 Respiratory Therapists
Patient Ratios: 36 UOS
Equipment Used: V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric, AIRVO
EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
Respiratory Care Practitioner experience
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Preferred Qualifications

CVICU experience
Experience with Nitric Oxide therapy

Typical Procedures Performed

Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis
Ventilator management
Nitric Oxide management
Bronchoscopy assistance
Intubation assistance
Nebulizer treatments
High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)

Work Environment & Additional Info

Floating: May cover all areas within the hospital
Schedule: Rotating weekends
