Overview

Location: Albany, Georgia
Contract length: 17 weeks
Shift: Days, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Assignment Details

19 OR suites
About 55–60 cases per day, approximately 1000 per month
Full-service facility
Common cases include ortho/neuro trauma and robotics
Does everything except major peds, transplants, and c-sections in the main OR
Not a level 1 trauma center; functions as a level 2
Call is by rotation, with a 30-minute response time
Holidays rotate with permanent staff
Floating: none
Floor-specific orientation: one week

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS
ACLS
2–3 years of experience
Must be within a strict 75-mile radius from the address on the traveler’s driver’s license to the hospital
OR techs must be CST
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility are expected

Preferred Qualifications

Scrubbing is preferred for RNs
