Role Overview

• Respiratory Therapist assignment in Frisco, Colorado.
• Department: RT -SAS.
• 13-week contract.
• Day shift, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
• Colorado license
• Must have experience in Nursery, ED, and Inpatient settings.

Preferred / Additional Details

• Adults, pediatrics, and neonates are cared for.
• Areas covered include Inpatient, ER, LDRP, and occasionally PACU.
• RTs perform ABGs, EKGs, breathing treatments, vent management, heated high flow, bipap, cpap, nursery support, C-section support, and home O2 set-up.
• RTs only assist with intubation.
• The RT will always be the only RT in-house.
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling are allowed.
• Weekend help is expected on occasion.
• One major winter holiday is required.
• No call or standby call.
• RTs wear hospital-laundered blue scrubs.
• Ventilation equipment includes Hamilton, PB980, and V-30.
• Hospitalist is not in house 24 hours/day; intensivist is available by telehealth only.
• Department-specific orientation is 2-3 weeks, with 630a-7p and weekends as needed.
• Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote.
• Radius: 60 miles.
• Driver’s license must be submitted.
